For each one of the territories involved in the project, a centre for activities and information on the integrated management of rivers and environmental pedagogy was created. Named Water Centres, each one of them endeavours to inspire, provide coordination, and support initiatives of local participants, within its territorial scope, in these two fields. Then, according to local situations, the four Water Centres have taken different directions regarding the implementation of actions they initiate and are responsible for. These Water Centres were set up in different types of places: - In France, the Water Centre (Maison de l’Eau du Val d’Adour) was established within the facilities of SEMADOUR. - The Water Centre of the Attert River Contract (Maison de l’Eau du Contrat de Rivière Attert) was included to a building dedicated to public utilities. - Regarding Alba Iulia’s Water Centre, it is located in facilities located near and belonging to the PAEM Alba Foundation. - In Sliven, the Water Centre is in an independent building, in the centre of town, next to the city hall. The four Water Centres occupy similar surface areas, except the one in Sliven, which is more spacious: 60 m² for Alba Iulia, 80 m² for Redange, 100 m² for the Val d’Adour, and 239 m² for Sliven.
